AkzoNobel has opened nominations for the industry’s first “FIT” Sustainability Award.
Nominations will be accepted until January 31, 2010. |
This new program is being implemented in an effort to complement the advancement of waterborne technology and promote the unique contributions which the collision repair industry is taking to generate a sustainable future.
Awards will salute, promote and encourage the efforts of members of the collision repair industry who implement business initiatives which aggressively stimulate solutions for sustainability. These solutions are defined as those that meet the needs of the present without compromising the needs of the future.
In keeping with the words that comprise the acronym of the award, the three primary areas of measurement for the award will be…..
- Focus – What were the specific goals which the actions initiated were intended to impact?
- Innovation – The vision that was required to determine the need, the creativity that went into developing a solution, and the processes that were put into place to sustain the activity within the business.
- Talent – The amount of team involvement that was generated within the business to implement the initiative, achieve the goal and sustain the outcome.
